In 2010, what miracles are you going to create to SJ?

Hi ELFs,

looking forward to Super Junior’s 4th album rite? i believe many of us bought the sorry sorry album already, but do you know the importance of the sales of their coming album?

In 2009, the 3rd album had an impressing sales, selling over 200,000 copy. it became the best selling album in many palces like in south korea, thailand, taiwan and phillipines. What’s more? sorry sorry hit the music chart in many country and was famous all over asia.

we all can see that after SJ released their 3rd album, their fans increasing a lot, specialy in china, malaysia and indonesia. However, there’s something weird. The sales of their 2nd album in 2007 was 190,000 copies. Last year we only got 10,000 more. Do you believe the number of sales (200,000) we saw last year was right??

THIS TIME WE HAVE NO CHOICE, WE WIN OR WE PERISH~

on the other hand, we must cherish the coming album, sadly to say it’s unknown that whether there will be 5th album in the future. Korean men have to enlist in the army when they reach 18 years old. we all know that it’s about time, they leave one by one, some for few months, some for few years, when will be the day they are reunion?
hard to say, but let’s treat everytime as the last to make sure there will be no regret.

anyway we can only do something to make this album perfect and let SJ and ELF have no regret.

remarks :
1. only buy original album from Korea if you want to see SJ win
- the sales chart is all according to the sales record in Korean music store.
- never buy pirated album just because they are cheap
- only the original album (version A) which are imported from korean music store will be counted to sales chart
- album from your owns country will ONLY be counted into overseas sales chart but not korean sales chart.
- don’t buy albums from SM Entertainment company because they will not be counted as well.

2. buy version A as many as possible
same as before, they will be versioan A,B, C,D it’s sure that version A will be counted into the sales chart, but we are not sure about whether version B, C and D will be counted as well.

3. Make sure you keep the receipt after buying version A
once there are something wrong in the sales chart, we can show the official that we do buy version A!!

besides the sales record, the popularity also count on “trial listening” By reviewing last year performance, the main reason why we can’t get some awards is due to “trial listening”. so we should also focus on this part in 2010. In the near future, we will distribute the guidelines about “trial listening” for different channels to ELF hoping everyone can participate in this. Also the reason why SJ can”t win in some ceremonies is due to our low score in “trial listening” which was reflected in Melon and Music Bank. In some musical awards ceremony, trial listening even contribute 60% for evaluating the overall performance of the singers.

In short we can’t let this happen again, so let’s work hard together for trial listening and cheer for SJ :)

ELFs always create miracle
we all remember clearly that korean ELF protested against SM company in 2007. They sat for 8 cold days, finally SM announced that there are 13 member in SJ (still 15 as family)
In 2009 winter, Chinese ELF joined force with ALL Asian ELF in order to win overseas viewers award for SJ. from leading in the 1st place then falling to 2nd place, we never gave up. Lots of ELFs got sick, but still voted at hospital. then we went beyond our opponents by 400,000 votes in one night.
the voting machine didn’t work because of our violent voting, at the same time, we won!!! Altought SJ didn’t get on the stage to receive the award, they were the proudest one and we showed our determination to love them. we’ll never forget that we shed the tears of happiness that time.

In 2010, what miracles for SJ are you going to create with all ELF?

No matter where you come from, how long you have been loving SJ, if you are one of the ELF, one of US, you should do your best for support SJ. Make sure that all the copies we buy are counted into the sales chart and work hard together for “trial listen” these are the key factors for us to let SJ win!!

Even tough we have a languange barrier, I believe our love to SJ can overcome all the difficulties. who are we? we are ELF! union is strength!
